Along with the basic rules of the board here are some guidelines that you might want to fallow to have a good rping time.

-When posting in a thread, always post your character's name in bold.
-When talking to someone put their name before the words. Try to post in quotes too. If your talking to multiple people, don't put anything, or if you are having a continuos convo with someone, you don't have to either.
-When you need to say something out of character use OOC:. When your done saying whatever you wanted to, but BIC: before you post your actions.
-Always use descriptive actions. Post in 3rd person.
-If your character has some sort of ability to allow him to be in more than one place despite the rules then it has to stay around the charrie and in the smae area.

Basic Posting Rules

• No serious put downs.
• No extreme language.
• Try your hardest to spell correctly.
• No spamming. (Even though you are Role Playing, please don't put one or two word posts)
• Be patient.
• No Flaming or Trolling. In other words, don't put down any extreme opinions or anything that will cause a fight between members.
• Don't kill any character, if you do this then you will get into trouble, so don't bother. Also don't use the three unforgivable spells.
• Nothing that is too mature. You have to remember that we have kids as young as seven years old visiting this site.
• Have fun!
• Respect other forum members and their opinions.
• Do not SPAM. This would include a post with a single smiley, one-liners (only allowed if what you have to say takes up just one line or is a game), posting the same topic twice, posting just to increase your post count, a useless/pointless post (example: hee hee yeah lol ), or a post that does not have to do with the topic of this thread.
• Try to user proper grammar and capitalization (i.e. capitalizing I's and the first letter of the sentece).
• Don't post in k3WL t3xT plz or ALL CAPS. It can be interpreted as yelling and is hard to read.
• Don't double post in the same thread unless it has been atleast 3 days since your last post. Use the Edit button at the bottom of the post to add whatever you need to your post.
• Do not post about illegal activities such as downloading mp3s or books. These posts/thread will be deleted.
• Make the titles of the threads relevant and clear, then keep that thread on topic so that posts aren't deleted.

Signatures

• A signature is a set of text and images that goes beneath each post, much like a signature at the bottom of a note or letter.
• Signatures must be smaller than 150 x 500 pixels so that it doesn't stretch out the thread or take too long to load.
• To put an image in your signature, [img]IMAGE URL HERE[/img*].(just remove the * and add the URL)
• No spoilers!
• Do not use any foul language, in appropriate images, or link inappropriate sites.

Try to balence out your charrie with weaknesses so that everyone won't act as if they are invinsible and no one can defeat him/her.
-Make sure that your characters have limintaion so when don't end up with a charrie that can destroy the world cause that would be any fun.
